ESSO Meeting 2020 virtual and new BRESO Website für Breast Surgery Certifications

The annual meeting of the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) will take place this year on October 23 and 24 under the title “Reshaping Surgical Oncology after COVID-19”. The exciting program will be available soon on the ESSO website. Abstracts will be accepted until September 9, 2020, and registration is already open.

In addition, the European Society of Surgical Oncology has launched the BRESO website, which provides certification information for breast surgeons as part of the European Breast Surgical Oncology Certification Programme. The program aims to harmonize and standardize the training of specialists in breast surgery internationally.

The international academic network Breast International Group (BIG), of which the ABCSG is a member, celebrates its 20th birthday in 2019. A total of 59 academic study groups from more than 50 countries are members here and have jointly committed themselves to clinical research in the field of breast cancer.
