It also addresses the tension between global standards and their implementation across different healthcare systems.<\/p>\n<p>Against the backdrop of the persistently high disease burden, the editorial shows how established guidelines serve as the basis for standardized care, while at the same time needing to allow room for regional differences and clinical heterogeneity.
